Rhody Civics Club's October meeting will focus on educational policy making and advocacy in Rhode Island, at the state level down to the town level. Featured guests are experts in policy, elections, school committees, and advocacy. Gain knowledge about the state of education in your area, and how you can get involved to make a difference as an unelected citizen.

Since we're in spooky season, everyone is encouraged to dress up if you want! The hosts will be in costume. We wanted to add in some (pumpkin) spice and see what everyone is dressing up as this year!

Rhody Civics Club is a community of folks interested in learning more about local government while making new connections (dare we say friends??) who share the value of being an engaged citizen. The goal is to bring back democracy as it was always intended to be: of the people, by the people, for the people. And to root into our Lil Rhody home state!
